Liquid Cleaning Agent for Removing Partially Carbonized Oils.

BUSOL FILTERCLEAN is based on a mixture of aliphatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, cresols and aionic surface-active agents. As a result, it is capable of removing partially carbonized oils. The product can safely be used on all common metals. Plastic and rubber, if present, should first be tested for chemical attack.

BUSOL FILTERCLEAN is used chiefly for cleaning permanently fixed oil coolers, oil pre-heaters and metal/ceramic oil filters. These are regularly soiled by soil particles coming out of the oil and partially carbonized oils.
Timely cleaning with BUSOL FILTERCLEAN prevents the formation of coke-type components which are difficult or impossible to remove.

BUSOL FILTERCLEAN is used undiluted only, at cleaning temperatures not exceeding 40oC. The cleaning effect is obtained by filling or circulating with BUSOL FILTERCLEAN. Cleaning will take 8 to 24 hours, depending on the degree of soiling.

BUSOL FILTERCLEAN is light-brown coloured fluid. It contains amongst other things, cresols and chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons. It is not corrosive to the common metals. Plastics and rubber, if present, should be tested for chemical attack and the product may also attack paints and lacquers.
